when we were little, i played a game called wafflemaker with my little brother. it involved folding the bed mattress back, sitting on top and squishing the other person inside it.
once, we were at my aunt's house for thanksgiving. we invented a game called sumo wrestler that involved one person holding up a rolled up futon mattress and another person running at it and trying to knock the other person and mattress down the way football players run and push those blocking dummies. it was my turn, but things went sortof white and the next thing i knew, i was on the ground and felt like throwing up. that was how i broke my right wrist the first time.
i have a recurring dream about a blanket made out of pillows sewn together on all edges. i think i'd like to try and make this blanket someday.
